ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR NEEDED

$20.00 - $27.97, plus an additional $1.25/hr. for campus differential

Position Summary

The Activities Coordinator's primary purpose is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the Activities Department's overall operation following current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and our established policies and procedures. The Activities Director is responsible for assuring that an ongoing program of activities is designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident following the resident's comprehensive assessment. This is a working Director position and will provide Supervision to Activities staff.

Education and Experience Preferred

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• One year's experience working in an Adult Residential Care facility or a facility serving persons with Mental Health, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and/or other disorders
• Activity experience preferred but not required, Activity Director Certification a plus
• One year of Supervisory experience with experience coaching employees, monitoring progress, enforcing rules, and ensuring quality compliance
• Experience and knowledge of current federal and state healthcare/assisted living/residential care facility rules and practices

Required Qualification

• have current ODL, or capability to get one within 30 days of hire
• willing and able to drive the company van or bus
• pass a background check and drug test upon conditional job offer
• complete RELIAS Activities training within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Any certifications or specialized training related to Activities
